workshops

In India, Goa (2024), I got the opportunity to work with local clay.

As a volunteer, I spent a month in a yoga TTC training, where I was able to give workshops with clay, with the focus on attachment, emotional release, and regulation.

Clay, as also working in a group, can be a big reflection of how we treat ourselves and take care of our surroundings. It shows us vulnerabilities and invites us to release suppressed emotions through play.

My interest in storytelling comes back in the workshops I give to children. The ages vary between elementary and middle school (4–12 or 12–18). With simple guidelines, they learn how to illustrate a message they want to share with others.

I like to focus on easily accessible materials, as well as recycling — to not only create something with the children in class, but to give them the tools to create wherever they are, without much.
